L’Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma e l’associazione culturale Re:humanism hanno sottoscritto un protocollo d’intesa nell’ambito delle attività del Work Package 3 “Intelligenza Artificiale e Collettiva” del progetto Enacting Artistic Research (EAR), finanziato dall’Unione europea – Next Generation EU (Missione 4, Componente 1) di cui l’Accademia è capofila.
L’accordo segna l’inizio di una collaborazione strategica tra Re:humanism e i partner del consorzio che partecipano al Work Package 3 del progetto EAR – l’Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera, il Conservatorio Santa Cecilia di Roma, il Conservatorio “Alfredo Casella” de l’Aquila e il Dipartimento di Ingegneria Civile, Edile e Architettura (DICEA) dell’Università Politecnica delle Marche – con l’obiettivo di esplorare nuove connessioni tra intelligenza artificiale, ricerca artistica e sistemi di intelligenza collettiva mediati da modelli linguistici di grandi dimensioni (LLM).
Le attività principali previste dal protocollo includono:
• L’organizzazione di uno Slowckathon, un evento in programma a settembre 2025 durante la Notte europea dei ricercatori e delle ricercatrici, che coinvolgerà studenti e alumni delle istituzioni partner impegnati nell’integrazione dell’IA nelle pratiche artistiche;
• La presentazione congiunta dei risultati dello Slowckathon all’interno della sezione DIGITALIVE del Romaeuropa Festival.
L’accordo tra l’Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma e Re:humanism resterà in vigore fino al 31 marzo 2026.

EAR Project: New collaboration with the cultural association Re:humanism
The Academy of Fine Art of Rome and the cultural association Re:humanism signed a memorandum of understanding as part of the activities of Work Package 3, “Artificial and Collective Intelligence,” within the Enacting Artistic Research (EAR) project. The project is funded by the European Union – Next Generation EU (Mission 4, Component 1), and coordinated by the Accademia.
This agreement marks the beginning of a strategic collaboration between Re:humanism and the consortium partners involved in Work Package 3 – the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, the Conservatory of Music Santa Cecilia, the “Alfredo Casella” Conservatoire of Music, and the Department of Construction, Civil Engineering and Architecture (DICEA) of the Marche Polytechnic University. The collaboration aims to explore new intersections between artificial intelligence, artistic research, and collective intelligence systems mediated by large language models (LLMs).
Key activities foreseen by the protocol include:
• The organization of a Slowckathon, scheduled for September 2025 during the European Researchers’ Night, involving students and alumni from the EAR partner institutions who integrate AI into their artistic practice;
• The joint presentation of the Slowckathon results within the DIGITALIVE section of the Romaeuropa Festival.
The agreement between the Academy of Fine Arts of Rome and Re:humanism will remain in effect until March 31, 2026.
