The Academy of Fine Arts in Rome offers university-equivalent Diploma Courses aimed at training experts in the fields of Visual Arts and Performing Arts, Design and Applied Arts, and Communication and Art Education. From these paradigmatic fields of belonging, new professionals are trained every year who are capable of expressing their creativity in the production system, accompanied by those characterising the figurative arts.
The Placement Office deals with the placement of students in the world of work, and is one of the services offered by the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome to provide concrete support to both students and organisations and companies, facilitating the matching of labour supply and demand.
The office’s activity focuses primarily on the management of curricular work placements, experiences that enhance and complement the academic education of students. These internships generally consist of carrying out practical activities at organisations outside the Academy, both in Italy and abroad.
The curricular internship is aimed at students enrolled on the First- and Second-Level Academic Diploma courses and on all the training courses offered by the Academy. This type of internship allows students to acquire a specific number of training credits, based on the intern’s study plan, and takes place at the organisations, following the procedures indicated in each Training Project.
Students can undertake a curricular internship even if it is not set out in the study plan, but only when this experience is necessary for the preparation of the final assessment.
