JSTOR
A new access system has been implemented for ABARoma’s Jstor online library.
Jstor (Journal Storage) is an electronic archive of digitised articles from over 1,000 academic and scientific journals. With Jstor, you can consult digitised copies of journals from the first issue, excluding the most recent years.
Jstor allows you to:
- consult years of journals, browse the indexes and read the articles;
- carry out bibliographic searches and save the search results, using your own
personal archive (MyJSTOR); - search for an article based on a citation;
- print or download full-text articles;
- save citations with the main programmes for automated bibliography management
Access to the electronic archive is granted to teaching staff, students and administrative staff.
When connecting at the Academy’s sites, it is possible to access the archive via:
- The Academy’s computers connected to the University network.
- Via the Wi-Fi of the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome to Jstor (for those who have Wi-Fi access credentials).
In these two cases, access will be automatic once you have logged in to the jstor.org website, and you will not need to log in.
In the case of remote connection, from home or from outside the premises, the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome provides access to the Jstor platform via Microsoft SSO.
Users with institutional credentials (abaroma.it) can authenticate themselves by following the instructions below:
- Go to the jstor.org site and click on the “Log in” button
- Click on “Log in with Microsoft”
- Enter your institutional credentials by following the instructions on the screen.
