The ABARoma Counselling Centre is dedicated to students, and offers a space and time in which to be listened to and develop an awareness that is useful for activating their own resources, to bring their educational, professional and personal journey to a ‘successful conclusion’, and to be helped to formulate, continue or redefine their life plan in a more functional way.
The ABAR Counselling Centre provides students who request it with a psychological counselling pathway where they can talk about their difficulties relating to:
- Orientation and choice of educational and professional path
- Socialisation and integration into a new context
- Increasing anxiety about taking an exam
- Unsatisfactory results compared to expectations
- Failure to pass exams
- Completing the course of study
- Emotional problems
Counselling methods
The Counselling Centre of the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome is free of charge.
It offers, with respect for confidentiality, professional counselling by a psychologist, according to the following procedures:
- an initial welcome meeting
- three psychological counselling sessions
- a session after 6 months
