The workshop aims to explore issues related to movement understood as free, participatory expression and a tool for relationships that can promote practices of care and mutual trust. During the working days, we will analyse the experiences of the artists and choreographers Anna Halprin and Simone Forti, who have collaborated with communities of the elderly and Native Americans, activating motor patterns aimed at care and listening.
The workshop offers the opportunity to acquire a greater sensitivity to non-verbal language and the ability to care through physical contact and movement, through the experience and use of techniques such as diaphragmatic breathing, proprioception and Contact Improvisation.
