A pathway for the training of cinematographic and theatrical costume designers as part of Prof. Federici’s Scenography course
From the 2024/2025 academic year, it will be possible to participate in the Costume Design Workshop, to immerse yourself in the art of sartorial excellence dedicated to cinema and theatre. Only first-year students on the three-year Scenography course enrolled with Prof. Claudia Federici will be able to join the Costume Design Workshop.
Students who join will have the opportunity to develop costume projects by combining advanced technical training with the latest technologies, integrating the principles of design with the practical experience of the tailoring workshop. This course will lead to the creation of costumes and will be aimed at training professionals in the world of performing arts, both film and theatre.
The following are involved in the course:
• Prof. Silvia Casto – Design Drawing for the Fashion Sketch and Drawing Techniques and Technologies – Fashion Illustration
• Prof. Claudia Federici – Set Design and Puppetry
• Prof. Paola Lo Sciurto – Costume Design for the Performing Arts and Costume Development Techniques
• Prof. Fabio Notarantoio – Tailoring Techniques for Costume
