What we are going to present at the event IN OUT from 2 to 4 October will be a series of courses covering various sectors of visual and non-visual communication: from career guidance for young people, to the world of publishing and new technologies, from photography, to illustration, graphic design, cinema, and even more so to creative work in its various forms.

abaroma in out memorare 2023

All this in a work in progress that will take shape through various sections: experts and professionals in the sector, seminars, conferences, with the aim of encouraging reflection, examination and experimentation, in a concrete, proactive and constructive way, on the content, aspects and knowledge that specifically characterise the complex and multifaceted world of work and visual communication (given the type of courses we offer).

A series of defining phases will encompass the various processes of production, use and consumption of the image and, not least, the importance of these phases (hence the name of the event, In Out) for the purposes of orientation on entry (aimed at potential new students) and on exit (entry into the world of production and specific work).

Knowledge, relationships, experiences, in order to preserve and promote individual and collective identity, through: Interactions – Emotions – Experiences – Vision – Profession – Creativity – Project – Action-Transformation – Techniques and Technologies – Integration between different media – Experimentation, etc.

These are some of the keywords that will unite the meetings held during the event, to analyse and compare all the sectors in which creativity and competence, combined with passion, play a decisive role alongside implementation methodologies, technologies and innovation.

The objective we have set ourselves is to propose an open dialogue regarding the relational, training and work aspects in the various sectors of communication, in the most transversal sense of the term, with particular attention (in this new event) to the theme of “Memorare” highlighting the narrative power, in its various forms, that communication acquires through visual and non-visual languages.

As well as the importance of remembering, rethinking, reflecting on the lived and the individual experience, narrated and represented.

Bringing out that something personal and collective that belongs to the past, to places, situations, conjunctures and individual and collective interweavings, to doing and thinking, rituals and social customs, sharing: experiences, knowledge and relationships, which can only enrich and at the same time make us reflect on and better understand that priceless baggage that feeds and nourishes, willingly or unwillingly, each of us.
