The School of Sculpture, with the two-year course in Environmental Sculpture and Lapis Tiburtinus led by Prof. Oriana Impei, has organised the trip as a continuation of the scientific publication, edited by Prof. Impei herself with the Florence-based art historian Antonella Massa, and it is an excursus through the most representative parks of contemporary sculpture. The trip will conclude with a visit to a peperino quarry in the province of Viterbo, a source of inspiration for many artists from the 16th century to the present day.
The journey through sculpture in the parks aims to complete the cultural art in nature trail undertaken in the educational programme. The participants are 19 students on the course and it is fully booked.
The programme is described on the poster.
