Collective photographic exhibition of silver salt prints
Exhibition presented by tevereartgallery.
The exhibition is a group show by young photographers and artists in which we rediscover the original gesture of analogue photography, full of artistic meaning in every step.
The modern “Homo Faber” rediscovers in silver salts, the undisputed masters of the Darkroom, the smells and sensations that have accompanied entire generations of Photographers in this Art over the last 150 years.
Following in the footsteps of the history of Photography, in this exhibition the young artists, through one of the most classic themes, the Nude, reclaim the Material and the Manual. The prints on display are unique works. Each work on display was conceived and created at every stage directly by the Artist.
The Exhibition was created through the collaboration between the “Academy of Fine Arts in Rome” and the “TAG – Tevere Art Gallery” in Rome. The students of the Academy attended a course held by Luciano Corvaglia and Professor Ernani Paterra on the Darkroom, during which, starting with analogue shots, they went on to print their own giant prints on baryta paper using silver salts.
