Annalisa
Ciaramella
Annalisa Ciaramella, a Neapolitan ‘creative’ – or, as she likes to describe herself, a ‘creative’ – works primarily as a costume designer, but also as an artist, director, set designer, producer and lecturer. She is currently a tenured lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome.
She trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples and has been working in the world of show business for over twenty years, spanning various fields: cinema, theatre, art and teaching. She has worked with many of Italy’s most famous actors and directors, received awards, and is an active and prominent figure on the national cultural scene. In recent years, she has worked primarily on film projects (including her own) and on creative, training and organisational initiatives. She is also a co-founder, along with a group of other directors, of the C4C Association, which focuses on training, production and distribution in the film and arts sectors. For several years, she has been running the Factory Costume Lab, a small costume and art workshop located in the historic centre of Naples.
