Please note that, in view of current Italian legislation, the individual contributions for the stay and for the trip provided for by the Erasmus+ Programme are subject to taxation.
Therefore, the home institution selects the following options to be chosen when the participant enters into the relevant mobility agreement, before departure:

  1. The Participant may choose to receive in advance (within 30 days before departure) a financial contribution* for travel and accommodation, which is directly taxed by the Academy in accordance with current legislation
  2. The Participant may choose to receive the services of issuing a return travel ticket and hotel accommodation from the Academy. The reimbursement of meals and urban transport will be made following the submission of supporting documents.
  3. The Participant may choose to have the Academy bear the travel expenses and provide a form of reimbursement following the submission of supporting documents for the accommodation. This choice is equally valid if the participant chooses to have the Academy cover the costs of the stay and a form of reimbursement following the submission of supporting documents for the trip.

* The final amount of the financial contribution for the mobility period is calculated by multiplying the number of mobility days by the daily amount of the individual support contribution for the destination country and adding the travel contribution.
For “zero-grant” participants, the travel allowance is 0.
