Workshop held by Luciano Corvaglia
The Workshop is aimed not only at first-year Photography students in Editorial Photography, but also at two-year students on other courses who have a particular interest in analogue photography.
There are 12 places available for students from other two-year courses, so please send any applications to Prof. Ernani Paterra (e.paterra@abaroma.it) by 29 February. The workshop will start in the week of 18 March 2024 and end in the first week of June.
In addition to the technique and practice of Fin Art silver salt printing, the programme also includes the study of the post-production of photographic files for digital B/W printing on large formats (starting from negatives on film). The work on both techniques is aimed at the production of large-format prints for the exhibition that the academy has been presenting at the Arles Festival for the past 3 years.
Students will be divided into 2 groups to allow for proper use of the darkroom space.
