Wool felting is probably the oldest textile technique, rediscovered in the 1970s in the world of Art and Design and evolving ever since. Not a fabric, but a composite of layered fibres, which is obtained from the raw material, the fibre of raw or carded sheep’s wool, with the sole help of water, soap, hands and time. It is proposed for its strong ecological sustainability, and for being a material that reveals an extraordinary and highly creative sculptural potential.
Theoretical and practical knowledge: of the basics of handmade water-based Artistic felt; from the raw material in loose fibre to the felting process and the defined form.
