Explanatory note on the workshop

The project, curated by Anna Maiorano and Flavia Matitti, is aimed exclusively at students enrolled in the School of Decoration and the School of Cinema, Photography, and Audiovisual Arts. A maximum of 60 students will be able to participate exclusively in person (there is no provision for online participation).
The workshop, entitled “Living Matter. Interdisciplinary workshop on artistic production”, will be held by Federico Seppi in four sessions that will take place on 8 and 9 March and 10 and 11
May, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm in the Aula Magna. Attendance at all four meetings will entitle the student to two training credits.
The workshop, the purpose of which is the artistic production of a project, is inspired by an idea: that the work of art can be considered an extended system in relation to its own
environment. The materials with which participants will work will be: copper, silver, aluminium, iron and brass.
