The artist will hold a workshop with the students on the two-year Editorial Photography course, guiding them through a visual process that starts from two-dimensionality and involves the three-dimensionality of the material.
The Academy of Fine Arts in Rome has the honour of hosting one of the contemporary visual artists who has most revolutionised the language of the image. Cresci’s lecture will lead us into the exploration of his long and unstoppable research process: the result of life experiences and his constant repositioning with respect to vision, his work creates an important relationship between sign and image, opening the photographic medium to interdisciplinarity, experimentation and discovery.
