Our institution guarantees equal opportunities and the possibility of participation in all activities to all its members, regardless of gender, political or religious beliefs, or social background.
background. Access for the disabled is guaranteed, and the most disadvantaged students can benefit from the scholarship offered by LAZIODIUS of the Lazio Region. The policy of integration and the rejection of all discrimination is one of the fundamental principles that inspire our institution.
National and international cultural cooperation is encouraged, actively participating in the community integration of institutions of high culture, supporting the mobility of lecturers and
students as well as the mutual recognition of educational curricula and academic qualifications”, as stated in our statutory principles. Our institution recognises all activities consistent with the study plan and the related credits acquired abroad. All activities are recorded in the Diploma Supplement.
The choice of our partners is not based on privileged geographical areas, but on the basis of similarities in the teaching curricula; in particular, we favour institutions that have teaching specialisations similar to ours, but with different courses, both theoretical and practical, that are useful for supplementing the education of our students.
The collaboration of our Academy, which has held an extended Erasmus charter since 2007, with numerous partners, with whom there is a fruitful exchange of students, teachers and staff members,
staff members, has greatly enriched the quality of our institution and the education of our students. The possibility of including a period of study abroad in their curriculum has, in fact, enabled them to broaden their cultural background, just as the presence of numerous foreign students within the Academy offers the opportunity to engage with other cultures and
artistic experiences. Our students on mobility have had the opportunity to experience new teaching methods and to interact with fine arts students from other countries, receiving stimuli and
opportunities for individual development. We have seen that the experience of mobility produces a real qualitative leap in students in terms of motivation and open-mindedness.
Maximum visibility and transparency is given to the activities of the Erasmus Programme through their publication, which is continuously updated, in the specific section of the Academy’s website. Nevertheless, mobility is still far below our expectations and is mostly hampered by the language barrier. Therefore, one of our priority objectives is to increase flows, especially outgoing ones, and to increase international cooperation activities. For this reason, we are working to improve knowledge of the English language through intensive language courses reserved for exchange students and the institution’s staff. Only after strengthening mobility will we be able to consider the creation of joint courses with our partners. Another priority objective is to raise awareness, both among students and staff, of the increasing need to project our Academy, which is attentive to the evolution of the contemporary art sector, onto the European and international scene, which for us represents the primary reference point for comparison and growth. Only through internationalisation can the quality of our educational opportunities be brought into line with European standards and allow the implementation of an increasingly broad and comprehensive range of courses.
