From 8 to 11 June 2023, Archivissima, the Festival of Archives, returns to Turin. Four days to discover, recount and explore cultural heritage, collections and the history of archives. The 2023 Festival, conceived and supported by Promemoria and organised by the cultural association Archivissima, will be enhanced by the Archivissima EXTRA programme. The 2023 edition will be dedicated to the theme #carnetdevoyage.
For the 2023 edition, the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome is taking part in the initiative through the production of a podcast, available on the festival platforms from 9 June.
Artisti in Viaggio is a podcast conceived and produced by the Historical Archive of the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. Created with the collaboration of some students, the podcast uses historical documentation to tell the stories of students and professors on educational trips as a reward or called to create works of art abroad, in search of political asylum or to learn, study and experience art in the Eternal City.
The podcast will be available on the Archivissima website, which can be accessed at the link: archivissima.it
On the website, you can discover the entire programme and the initiatives dedicated to the festival.
