On 21 May 2023 at 6:00 pm, within the walls of the Castello di Mantignana in the municipality of Corciano (PG), the exhibition Il corpo e il sintomo, curated by the Associazione di Promozione Sociale Castellinaria, will be inaugurated.
These are works by young artists from the Academies of Fine Arts in Rome and Perugia who have reflected on the complex relationship we have with our body: a body that easily shows itself to be a symptom of deep anxieties and belonging.
Exhibiting artists:
Tanzina Akter, Ludovica Carlini, Cecilia Damiani, Simona De Bastiani, Jennifer Di Giulio, Agnese Furetti Satta, Christian Garau, Viola Lotta, Martina Mazza, Daniele Nasta, Antonella Osservanti, Emma Panaccio, Livia Penge, Ilaria Pennoni, Riccardo Pieraccioni, Ana Maria Popa, Beatrice Sanchioli, Barbara Stievano, Anonymous Artist.
The exhibition will be held in Mantignana Castle, a thousand-year-old village, a place of silence, which lends itself well to hosting contemporary works of art that, in the gentleness of its ancient stones, find their own space to be interpreted in the slow time of reflection.
The exhibition is sponsored by the Academies of Fine Arts in Rome and Perugia, the Municipality of Corciano, the Associazione MI Fido Di TE onlus and the Associazione di Promozione Sociale Castellinaria.
The exhibition will be open to visitors from 21 to 28 May 2023 from 6 pm to 8 pm.
